📋 Description

• Provide first-line support for finance system users and respond to routine queries • Log, track and help resolve system issues and support requests • Process user access requests and maintain system records • Support maintenance of supplier, customer, user and approval-related master data • Carry out routine data quality checks and help identify inconsistencies • Assist with testing system enhancements, upgrades and process changes • Support creation of user guides, FAQs and training materials • Work across purchase order, expenses, card and travel management systems • Work closely with the Finance Systems Analyst and Finance Systems Manager • Provide day-to-day support to colleagues across the organisation, ensuring systems run smoothly, users receive support, and data remains accurate and compliant

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in a finance, administration, systems support, data administration, helpdesk or business support role • Confident user of business systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly • Good Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, basic formulas and simple data checks • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to follow documented processes and maintain clear records • Good written and verbal communication skills • Able to support users patiently and clearly • Able to log, track and escalate issues effectively • Basic understanding of finance processes such as purchase orders, invoices, suppliers, customers, coding, expenses or approvals • Organised and able to manage routine deadlines and competing requests • Comfortable working with data, forms, trackers and system records • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults, including Prevent Duty and modern British values • May be required to process a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS/DS) check, dependent on the role
