📋 Description

• Own regulatory compliance across a complex product area • Ensure solutions address core compliance needs for small business customers • Advise product teams and senior leaders on regulatory matters • Shape the regulatory roadmap and assess how legislative changes influence long-term product vision • Partner with engineering teams to review and sign off on compliance architecture for upcoming launches • Manage multiple regulatory projects across different time horizons • Navigate scope trade-offs • Engage with external regulatory and trade bodies to represent product compliance interests • Translate complex regulatory changes into high-level insights and product requirements • Collaborate with compliance experts across product, engineering, and product risk • Support proactive risk mitigation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring

🎯 Requirements

• Professional membership with a recognized accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll association, supported by a relevant qualification • Strong expertise in navigating complex regulatory frameworks, such as Tax, Accounting, or Reporting • Experience guiding regulatory implementations • Excellent communication skills, particularly translating technical regulatory details into simple recommendations for technology and product leaders • Methodical approach to analytical research • Strong attention to detail • Confident decision-making • Strong self-management and prioritization skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Passion for upskilling others, sharing knowledge, and mentoring • Working rights for the country this role is based in • Satisfactory completion of relevant background checks, which may include credit and criminal history checks
