📋 Description

• Take an active role as co-owner of production services to ensure they are built, maintained, and operated reliably and scalably • Contribute to delivery of new features and services and day-to-day operations of existing services • Collaborate with Software Engineering to identify and drive operational improvements through metric-driven collection and analysis • Develop and maintain application performance benchmarks • Drive operational efficiencies by releasing code and monitoring performance • Provide SRE and operational support, including tooling, automation, monitoring, workflow management, and CI/CD improvements • Participate in the weekly on-call rotation to investigate and resolve system issues • Manage and scale infrastructure systems • Create and maintain performance benchmarks • Improve CI/CD pipelines to reduce development-to-production deployment time • Improve and scale AWS and application infrastructure • Optimize local development workflows with software development teams • Identify common issues and develop solutions to reduce or eliminate their impact • Help implement scalable blue/green and canary deployment solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting infrastructure in AWS • Experience managing the full lifecycle of production container deployment using self-managed Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS • Ability to build custom tools when suitable tools are unavailable and teach others to use them • Understanding of CI/CD and experience building custom tooling to deploy code to production • Ability to troubleshoot distributed Linux systems and trace requests across applications, systems, and networks • Ability to automate routine tasks • Proficiency in at least two programming languages • Excellent spoken and written communication skills for explaining complex ideas to varied audiences • Ability to collaborate effectively while also solving problems independently • Must be based in the EMEA region and available during standard EMEA working hours
