• Execute brand strategy and tactics in field • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives • Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and execute post-call evaluations • Effectively handle objections and gain logical calls to action to close sales • Build trusted customer relationships to achieve win-win agreements • Develop and execute call plans to optimize coverage and frequency • Build understanding of customer needs, market landscape, and product expertise • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers and maintain disease state experts
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred • Relevant and equivalent industry experience required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree is at least five (5) years • Three (3) or more years of experience within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred • A high school diploma/GED required • Proven track record of success in selling and solid presentation skills • Proactively identifies customer style / behavior and adapts selling approach • Offers innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities • Provides impact with ideas for the larger organization and anticipates changes • Influences others & is viewed as a credible resource among peers • Builds collaborative partnerships with district colleagues and matrix teams • Demonstrated success in leadership and support roles with increased responsibility • Understands and leverages findings to develop sales strategies • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
