📋 Description

• Manage all aspects of insurance defense litigation from case inception to verdict • Gather and organize documents, evidence, and legal research for cases • Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents • Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents • Interview clients and witnesses, and maintain communication records • Attend court hearings and assist as needed, may represent clients in routine matters • Monitor changes in laws and regulations, update legal team on potential impacts • Participate in training sessions and mentorship programs

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar • Successful completion of courses focused on legal research, writing, and analysis • Strong time management skills • Capable of organizing case files and managing legal documents • Skilled in communicating with clients and preparing summaries • Well-versed in legal ethics and professional conduct standards • Equipped with fundamental negotiation techniques • Must be commutable distance to courthouses throughout the Miami, FL area
