📋 Description

• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for leadership, the board, and investors—from raw data pulls to polished presentations • Contributing to ad-hoc strategic analyses cross-functionally (e.g., paid acquisition performance, product launch business cases, international market analysis, etc.) • Maintaining detailed financial models to support budgeting and planning, and performing budget variance analysis at a monthly cadence • Building and maintaining performance reporting and KPI dashboards for various departments using SQL and Looker • Supporting inbound diligence requests and other ad hoc strategic projects as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or strategic finance/FP&A, preferably with a focus on software and internet businesses • Exposure to annual and long-range forecasting, reporting on forecast vs. actual variance, and similar FP&A responsibilities • Proven track record of achieving goals and delivering results in a collaborative, team-oriented environment • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets • Strong working knowledge of SQL and business intelligence tools • Strong attention to detail and analytical rigor • Solid presentation skills, with the ability to communicate quantitative and qualitative insights clearly and visually • Strong communication skills, including the ability to break down complex concepts and proactively share knowledge with teammates and stakeholders • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Curious, experimental mindset—especially with emerging AI tools and technologies • Humility, empathy, and open-mindedness—no egos
