📋 Description
• Lead multiple daily telehealth-based group exercise sessions for cardiac and pulmonary patients • Monitor vital signs and RPE/RPD for signs of distress or exercise intolerance • Provide individual and group patient education on disease management • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care • Advocate for patients experiencing major social stressors • Serve as a strong point of contact for patients and families
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, kinesiology, or related field • Certified in Basic Life Support • Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience in cardiac and/or pulmonary rehabilitation • Experience leading group exercise sessions or classes with diverse populations • Proficient in using telemedicine platforms and comfortable with digital tools for patient management and education
