📋 Description

• Collaborate with clinical study teams to provide medical and scientific support to clinical trial sites • Support site engagement, education, and execution of respiratory (asthma-focused) clinical studies • Develop and maintain strong relationships with investigators, key opinion leaders, and external stakeholders, including pulmonologists and allergists/immunologists • Serve as a credible scientific resource, providing timely, accurate, and relevant information on Apogee’s development programs • Stay current on emerging data, publications, and clinical trends in asthma and respiratory disease to effectively engage external experts • Maintain awareness of competitor products, biologics, and evolving treatment paradigms in asthma • Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, and Business Development & Strategy to ensure alignment • Gather and communicate actionable field insights to inform clinical strategy and development decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in a relevant medical or scientific field (MD/DO, PharmD, PhD, Master’s Degree, or equivalent) • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience as a Medical Science Liaison, with expertise in respiratory (asthma) • Strong understanding of clinical study execution and appropriate interactions with clinical study sites • Familiarity with compliance requirements related to medical affairs activities and appropriate interactions with healthcare professionals • Knowledge of the respiratory therapeutic area and current treatment paradigms in asthma • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals • Successfully exhibit Apogee’s C.O.R.E. values: Caring, Original, Resilient and Egoless • Position requires up to 40% travel including mandatory in-person attendance at All Hands meetings typically held twice per year. Additional travel may be required to attend key team meetings and medical or industry conferences, both in the US and in Europe.
