📋 Description

• Conducting and managing workplace investigations involving employee relations concerns, allegations of misconduct, fraud, workplace violence, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other employment-related matters. • Independently leading investigations from intake through resolution, including witness interviews, evidence review, fact-finding, and report preparation. • Providing legal guidance on employment law, workplace compliance, and employee relations matters. • Collaborating with client stakeholders, Human Resources teams, compliance professionals, and business leaders to address workplace concerns and implement appropriate corrective actions. • Drafting investigation plans, witness interview summaries, investigation reports, findings, and other related documentation. • Advising clients on compliance with applicable employment laws, workplace policies, and HIPAA requirements where relevant. • Managing sensitive and confidential legal issues for clients across multiple industries. • Staying ahead of employment law developments, workplace investigation best practices, and regulatory changes to provide proactive counsel.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in employment law, workplace investigations, employee relations, or a related practice area. • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and workplace investigation practices. • Experience conducting or supporting workplace investigations, including employee relations, fraud, and workplace violence matters. • Proven ability to independently manage investigations and advise clients on employment-related risks and compliance issues. • Familiarity with HIPAA and privacy-related compliance requirements. • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
