• Acts as the primary technical interface for BWPKG to the customer providing technical assistance. • Installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and optimizing integrated production lines. • Recommending preventative maintenance and optimized production solutions. • Work independently and decisively to analyze and resolve faults. • Interact with personnel at customer sites for safety, operation, and maintenance improvements. • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through communication and reporting. • Provide remote and onsite technical support to end-use customers. • Help ensure projects are executed and completed within quoted time and margin.
• A degree in Mechatronics or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the packaging industry. • Proficient in PLC programming, setting and parameters • Working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic controls systems. • Understanding of and ability to read floorplan layouts, electrical schematics, programming logic schema. • Experience in understanding and modifying PLC Programming preferably in both ladder logic and structured text. • Basic computer skills including Microsoft office suite. • Must possess a valid driver’s license, passport and ability to travel on short notice.
