• Manages an active desk of fast-track property damage liability claims under business owner policies • Analyzes coverage issues under the Business owners coverage form, garagekeepers, hired non-owned auto, auto services and other standard industry forms • Analyzes, investigates, and evaluates new loss notices and claim tenders • Adjusts total auto losses as part of adjusting liability claims • Expeditiously analyzes and positions claim under applicable coverage • Collaborates on setting reserves at appropriate level for claims • Uses good judgment in managing ALAE in claims investigation • Appropriately documents claim files in accordance with established guidelines • Obtains and maintains adjuster licenses, as required
• BA/BS degree required • Strong analytical skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills including proper grammar usage and imparting information in a clear and concise manner • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and meet assigned deadlines • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and internet applications • Highly attentive to details • Ability to work under pressure and execute good judgment in sensitive situations • 3+ years prior general liability claims adjusting experience preferred • Experience in bodily injuries claims preferred • CPCU or other industry designation a plus • State adjuster license(s) a plus
