📋 Description

• Oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS) • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal adjustments, reconciliations, and variance analysis • Coordinate tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions and liaise with external tax advisers • Manage tax compliance and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submission of tax returns • Develop, document, and implement efficient financial workflows and procedures • Introduce strategies to enhance reporting accuracy and optimise resource allocation • Partner with IT and finance teams to deliver system upgrades and process integrations • Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial operations with broader business objectives • Supervise general ledger management, ensuring precise reconciliations and the integrity of financial records

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or equivalent certification preferred • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in financial accounting and reporting, including at least two years in a senior or equivalent role • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards, and tax regulations • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin and English • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
