📋 Description

• Perform structural analysis and design of various structures with an emphasis on concrete, steel, and masonry. • Develop and maintain project structural drawings and specifications in accordance with building codes. • Conduct existing conditions investigations and prepare associated reports. • Ensure cross-discipline coordination with other engineering departments. • Provide construction phase support including reviewing shop drawings, answering RFIs, etc. • May provide mentorship, guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing to help less experienced team members develop their skills and grow within their roles.

🎯 Requirements

• Typically, a minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering or a related field. • Has achieved or is working towards achieving professional license (PE or SE). • Typically certified in BC's Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) Framework, and progressing through the SMS competencies. • Proficiency in understanding and following building codes and regulations, including ACI 318, ACI 350, AISC 360, IBC, ASCE 7. • Familiarity with various materials including concrete, steel, and masonry.
