📋 Description

• Provide advice and counsel on corporate, transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters, including drafting legal opinions and recommendations • Proactively identify, assess, and communicate legal and regulatory risks; monitor and interpret legislative and regulatory developments relevant to assigned areas. • Lead or provide legal support for contracting matters, including drafting, negotiation, dispute resolution, and vendor/provider agreements. • Support corporate governance, compliance, and business development initiatives, including new market implementations and partnership arrangements • Build and maintain effective relationships with business leaders, regulators, governmental entities, external counsel, and key stakeholders. • Manage and/or support litigation and dispute resolution activities • Provide guidance and legal expertise to business partners and legal team members within area of responsibility.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D) from an accredited college/university required • Seven (7) years of legal, regulatory, or compliance experience required • Previous experience in a law firm or in-house corporate legal department preferred • Healthcare and/or managed care law experience strongly preferred, particularly government programs preferred • Demonstrated experience supporting complex regulatory environments and business operations preferred.
