• Perform all tasks related to running a Windows Server environment smoothly • Responsible for daily technical operations and service request resolution • Identify and mitigate issues that impede application service delivery • Gather or relate technical requirements to/from non-technical people • Support and assist technical and non-technical internal users • Accountable for the successful completion of duties assigned • Investigating and reporting on modern technologies and systems as requested • Be able to record changes and build handover documents • Serves as escalation point for complex helpdesk support issues • Perform monitoring and preventative maintenance on servers • Help other team members with any issues they may encounter to maintain overall team effectiveness. • Actively seeks to promote a healthy team environment to maintain and increase overall team morale and individual team members’ job satisfaction. • Whenever needed, interact and assist with members of other teams to contribute to the overall company culture. • Carries out day-to-day communication with other teams to ensure that all team members are sufficiently aware of work being carried out by their colleagues. • Keeps supervisor(s) informed about any issues that may arise.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role • Candidates with MCSE, MCSA and or other Azure related Microsoft Certifications will be preferred • Knowledge and experience with Windows 2016/2019, AD (Active Directory), System Center Configuration Manager and System Center Operations Manager (optional) • Office 365/Intune experience • PowerShell scripting experience • Good Grasp of network design and security • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management • Ability to stay focused to ensure that tickets are completed accurately and on time • Ability to prioritize and multitask • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Elevated level of Information Security awareness.
