📋 Description

• Serve as the SW subject matter expert on short term engagements for Lancope’s customer base. • Work with customer network and security operations on SW network design and installation. • Analyze current installation and recommend implementation and fine-tuning details to increase SW effectiveness. • Communicate with customer engineering and management on project details and progress. • Partner with sales team to enhance sales opportunities in customer accounts. • Provide product feature input to product management to influence future development.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a services or sales engineering role at a data network vendor, DPI equipment vendor, security vendor, service provider or network security company. • 6+ years of related technical experience, installing, designing, managing, administering and supporting an enterprise network. • Proven track record working directly with enterprise customers to implement complex technical solutions. • Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Load balancers, proxies and firewalls. • Strong understanding of network security including, DDoS, Firewall, IDS, IPS, anti-virus and common exploits. • Solid understanding of IP network design/operation. • Experience in writing code, scripts, and/or parsers for 3rd party technology integration would be a plus. • Excellent Presentation, written, and verbal skills. • Ability to travel 50 - 75% of time.
