📋 Description

• Investigate and adjust workers' compensation claims with high potential exposure • Analyze coverage, determining compensability and benefits • Establish reserves and negotiate settlements • Conduct meetings on the phone with insureds and claimants • Prepare large loss reports to both internal and external audiences • Attend settlement conferences as assigned • Work closely with defense attorneys and other vendors including medical case management, surveillance, etc.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience required, but exceptional candidates with 7+ years will be considered • Current license to adjust workers’ compensation claims in California • Strong understanding of California workers' compensation claims • Ability to work Pacific Time Zone business hours • Strong consideration given to candidates with industry designations including Associate in Claims • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
