• Global Market Expansion • Develop and execute ClassLink’s international business development strategy. • Identify and prioritize target markets based on regulatory environment, funding structures, and digital transformation initiatives. • Conduct market analysis to inform pricing, positioning, and partnership strategies. • Government & Ministry Engagement • Build and maintain strong relationships with Ministries of Education, regional education authorities, and government stakeholders. • Lead strategic discussions related to national or regional digital access initiatives, identity management, and interoperability frameworks. • Navigate public procurement processes, tenders, and RFP submissions. • Strategic Partnerships • Identify and negotiate partnerships with distributors, resellers, system integrators, and technology providers. • Structure channel agreements and joint go-to-market strategies. • Represent ClassLink at international education and government forums. • Revenue & Pipeline Development • Drive international revenue growth and pipeline development aligned with company goals. • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Legal teams to localize offerings where appropriate. • Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategy to meet growth targets. • Cross-Functional Leadership • Work closely with product teams to align roadmap priorities with international market needs. • Provide feedback on compliance, localization, and regulatory requirements (e.g., data privacy, hosting, security standards). • Support international customer success and implementation efforts as needed.
• 8–12+ years of experience in business development, international sales, or strategic partnerships. • Demonstrated success expanding technology solutions into international markets. • Experience working within K–12 education technology ecosystems. • Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals. • Willingness and ability to travel internationally (30–50%). • Preferred Experience • Direct experience working with Ministries of Education or national-level education authorities. • Experience responding to international tenders and government procurement processes. • Background in identity management, cybersecurity, edtech platforms, or SaaS solutions. • Established international education network and government relationships. • Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
