📋 Description
• Oversee Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants providing pain management services • Supervise telemedicine providers to ensure quality of care and compliance • Review patient documentation and provide feedback for clinical quality • Guide providers on evidence-based pain management protocols • Support individualized treatment planning for geriatric patients • Available for provider consultation and case review • Participate in one monthly provider meeting • Ensure compliance with Medicare, DEA, and state regulations • Collaborate with leadership on quality improvement initiatives
🎯 Requirements
• Active MD or DO license in New Mexico • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Palliative Care, or related specialty • Active DEA registration in good standing • Medicare-enrolled provider • Experience supervising NPs/PAs and/or telemedicine providers preferred • Experience working with geriatric, chronic pain, palliative, or post-acute care populations preferred • Strong understanding of safe opioid prescribing and multidisciplinary pain management approaches
