📋 Description

• Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ • Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children • Understand Christ’s mandate to protect children • Commit to and prioritize child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks, and activities across the ministry • Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct • Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process • Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors • Participate in the monthly close processes, performing duties such as preparing professional documentation for audits • Prepare routine journal entries in Workday, primarily for banking • Collect and prepare supporting evidence for journal entries, including running reports and verifying their accuracy • Ensure accuracy of ledger entries and reconcile the subledger to the general ledger • Prepare reconciliations for general ledger accounts, subledger activity, and external statements • Stay up-to-date with any accounting policies or standards which are relevant to the role, including any changes or updates
