📋 Description
• Evaluate loan level challenges and provide solutions to production staff and management. • Identify risks and assess loans for marketability and performance. • Assist with process, procedures, guideline changes, etc. • Work with all departments, both regionally and corporately, to support retail production. • Forecast future frequency and severity of losses while monitoring reports to mitigate risk. • Find risk mitigation solutions and identify and implement programs/processes needed for loss mitigation. • Identify areas where training is needed and provide training to staff. • Identify inefficiencies in processes and find solutions. • Actively assist senior staff in determining capacity, needs, risk decisions, etc. • Collaborate between regional and corporate departments. • Participate in trainings, meetings, and calls. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum 10 years of mortgage experience • 5+ years of frontline underwriting is required • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Ability to research effectively and is solution-oriented • Requires strong verbal and written communication skills • Must have a strong knowledge of industry standards, and government regulations.
