📋 Description

• Work closely with Clearance Officer to read and clear purchase and refinance for residential transactions. • Work closely with Clearance Officer to examine abstracts, leases, contracts, and other legal documents to determine title insurance and legal issues in connection with title insurance commitments/reports. • Work closely with Clearance Officer and with title agency clients and attorneys representing parties to a real estate transaction to clear title exceptions and prepare the title for closing. • Work closely with Clearance Officer and assist preparing and/or reviewing both Owner and Loan Policies for appropriate exceptions. • Experience with reviewing title bills/invoices. • Experience with Surveys, Survey Readings, Real Estate Taxes, Recordings and Escrows. • Experience with both New York and National transactions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ plus years of experience • Knowledge of SoftPro Select a plus • Great time management skills • Outstanding work ethic with the ability to work in both team oriented and self-directed environments. • Detail-oriented and professional; able to handle confidential information. • High level of accountability • Customer service oriented • Creative problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal). • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
