📋 Description

• Perform financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions, including Quality of Earnings, as well as the analysis of working capital, cash flows, and key financial metrics • Review and interpret financial statements under GAAP and other relevant standards • Develop and present client deliverables, including detailed Excel analyses and PowerPoint presentations summarizing findings • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables • Collaborate with internal teams and client executives, including CFOs and Controllers, to gather data and communicate insights effectively • Utilize advanced Excel functions and analytics tools (PowerBI and Alteryx) to synthesize data and identify trends • Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards • Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes • Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in audit and/or financial due diligence, preferably within Big 4 or similar firms • Strong understanding of the financial due diligence process, including past experience issuing quality of earnings reports with a view toward Adjusted EBITDA, NWC, and Net Debt • Experience working with target company CFOs and Controllers, as well as Private Equity Partners • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI and Alteryx is an advantage • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment • Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation • Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards • Ability to work onsite in San Francisco three days per week • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics • CFA or advanced degree preferred
