• perform duties as a Practitioner and Consultant in Psychiatry • provide treatment services in routine outpatient services using virtual platforms • make recommendations on diagnostics and treatment plans • provide continuing follow-up care for chronic outpatients • examine and conduct thorough studies of presenting patients • recommend hospitalization or determine a service member's fitness for duty • prepare case summaries and other correspondence in a timely and effective fashion
• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree • successful completion of an internship, residency in Psychiatry and/or Psychiatry Fellowship • two years of experience providing Psychiatry using virtual platforms • current board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Psychiatry and Neurology • current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Psychiatrist
