📋 Description

• Responsible for processing and reconciling mutual fund tax reporting • Monitoring reporting outputs • Overseeing shareholder accounts • Generates shareholder tax forms, including Forms 1099-DIV, 1099-R, 1099-Q, 1099-SA, 1099-B, 1042-S, 5498, and 5498-ESA • Reconciles tax form output against established control reports to ensure accuracy and completeness • Maintains the shareholder recordkeeping system in accordance with regulatory requirements • Reviews system and control reports to monitor shareholder contact activity and returned mail • Partners with management to coordinate state reporting and escheatment activities • Monitors regulatory changes and communicates relevant updates to stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration • 2-3 years of experience in mutual fund operations • Experience with mutual fund tax reporting requirements • Knowledge of mutual fund operations and transaction processing impact to shareholder tax reporting • Knowledge of state escheatment rules • Knowledge of mutual fund tax reporting requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
