📋 Description

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on issues related to insurance law, corporate law, and financial services regulation. • Assist attorneys with the review, drafting, and organization of contracts, non-disclosure agreements, vendor agreements, and other legal documents. • Support state insurance regulatory research and tracking of legislative and regulatory developments. • Review and summarize statutes, regulations, regulatory guidance, and case law affecting the life insurance and annuity industry. • Assist with compliance-related projects and internal policy reviews. • Attend legal department meetings and collaborate with business stakeholders across the organization. • Perform other legal and administrative tasks as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Completion of first year (1L) at an accredited law school. • Strong academic performance. • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. • Interest in insurance, financial services, corporate law, securities, compliance, or regulatory law. • Familiarity with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis.
