• Provide word processing support and document formatting support to project staff. • Help maintain the project website and portal to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information, organization, usefulness, and consistency throughout the ACTG member website. • Upload draft and final protocols, reports, announcements, communications, and other documents to the project member website and internal DLH intranet. • Edit and post recordings and videos to the project member website. • Monitor project communications mailbox and distribute messages promptly and correctly to appropriate recipients. • Coordinate the preparation of the protocol summaries posted on the project public website. • Collate and format extensive session-specific agendas for project network meetings and retreats and assist with other meeting agendas, presentations, and materials as needed. • Monitor ClinicalTrials.gov to ensure that all applicable new protocols are posted on the website. • Support registration of new non-IND protocols and updating of existing non-IND protocols on ClinicalTrials.gov. • Provide backup and/or supplemental support for other task areas as needed. • Travel to in-person meetings (up to 5%). • May be assigned additional duties as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in public health or social sciences (or equivalent) preferred. • Strong preference for at least 1 year of experience directly related to clinical and/or public health research. • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. • Microsoft Office Specialist Word certification preferred. • Works well individually and as part of a team under moderate to minimal supervision. • Communicates effectively with staff and clients. • Exhibits a high degree of flexibility, organization, and attention to detail. • Demonstrates high competency in meeting deadlines for multiple and different tasks with competing priorities and a heavy workload. • Experience in website/database systems is considered a plus.
