📋 Description
• Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five (5) or more hours per day, every scheduled instructional day • use student performance data to personalize instruction, identify learning gaps, and adapt approach to meet each student • provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work and maintain accurate records • build genuine relationships with students and families through professional, proactive communication • collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure students receive consistent, high-quality support across their learning experience
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field and an active state teaching license in Ohio in Global Languages: French grades 6-12 • experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings and are comfortable with the unique demands of a live online classroom • confident and engaging on camera, able to teach live for five (5) or more consecutive hours per day, every instructional day • hands-on experience with online learning platforms, virtual instruction tools, and standard productivity software • data-informed: know how to read student performance data and use it to adjust live instruction in meaningful ways • excellent communicator, in writing and verbally, able to meet students, families, and colleagues where they are • highly organized and self-directed, with time management skills to independently manage a full student caseload in a remote environment • committed to professional growth, maintaining certification, and staying current on K-12 curriculum, technology, and best practices • integrity, warmth, and a deep belief that every student can succeed, values that align with Edmentum’s mission • willingness to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs
