📋 Description

• Collaborates with people leader to execute company underwriting framework within assigned industry segment • Creates and communicates best practices and underwriting guidance to the company • Serves as a technical expert in Corporate Underwriting on responses to questions on assigned business segment • Analyzes premium and loss data and other key reports on monthly and quarterly basis to ensure long-term profitable growth • Communicates and makes recommendations for improvement needed to meet company goals and improve underwriting results • Recommends and develops new product ideas, reviews existing products, and assists with drafting new coverage language • Participates in on-going collaboration with risk improvement, claims, actuary and other appropriate teams in support of enterprise wise business and profitability goals • Provides direction, training, and guidance for less experienced team members as appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business or insurance related field, or equivalent relevant experience • Eight years of experience with commercial property and casualty underwriting experience • Staff underwriting experience within assigned line of business or business segment preferred • Insurance designations, such as AU, CIC, or CPCU preferred
