📋 Description

• We are looking for part-time, experienced essay editors for high school students. • Provide detailed, constructive feedback to help students differentiate themselves from other competitive applicants through their voice in their essays. • Edit dozens of essays throughout the admissions process, particularly between August and January each year. • Claim the essay and submit edits within a 24-hour timeframe.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. • Graduated from a top 50 university in the United States. • Background in college admissions preferred, not mandatory. • Prior experience in editing, tutoring, or coaching writing, preferably with high school students. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills. • Ability to provide constructive criticism in a supportive, empathetic, and non-judgmental manner. • Patience and empathy for students navigating the college application process. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
