• Prepares and posts journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation • Analyzes balance sheet accounts and prepares corresponding reconciliations • Responds promptly to requests and inquiries • Retrieves, processes, and analyzes data from various sources • Maintains supporting accounting schedules • Collaborates with team members across the company • Adheres to compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable internal controls • Other duties as assigned
• Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the ability to apply the principles to specific situations • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members • Good verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize among multiple tasks and objectives • Ability to demonstrate high integrity, especially in maintaining confidential information • Ability to adapt in their performance of job duties according to manager feedback • Microsoft Office Suite, most importantly Excel, Outlook, and Teams • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university required • No prior experience required. 0-2 years of public accounting or industry experience preferred • CPA preferred
