📋 Description

• Supports first-line credit underwriting and portfolio management • Supervises a team of underwriters and credit analysts • Oversees risk grading, loan evaluation, and portfolio monitoring • Identifies potential risks and trends using data-driven insights • Collaborates with sales, risk, and credit teams • Implements credit strategies and streamlines underwriting processes • Ensures compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements • Assists in developing and mentoring team members

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Business, Economics or related field • 10+ Years of 1st line of defense credit underwriting, portfolio management, and risk management experience • 3+ years of experience in managing teams of credit analysts, underwriters in the specialty vertical • Experience and expertise in credit bureaus, credit decision engines, credit and cash flow modeling, income/identity verification and loss forecasting
