📋 Description

• Oversee and prepare group consolidations in support of quarter- and year-end close • Support the US GAAP external and internal reporting process • Prepare the financial reporting requirements for any Debt Issuance • Ensure all controls and government processes are being followed and accurately recorded • Assist with the maintenance and ongoing development of the internal control framework • Participate in process improvement and other ad hoc projects as required • Act as a key liaison with internal and external auditors on financial reporting • Significant interaction and coordination with actuarial, investments, and tax teams

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in accounting or finance • Internationally recognized accounting designation (CPA) • Minimum of 7 years relevant post-qualification experience within insurance • Previous experience in financial reporting required • Working knowledge of US GAAP reporting standards • If role supports Group Controllership, working knowledge of US Statutory and Bermuda Statutory (SFS) reporting standards applies • Strategic and analytical problem-solving skills • Ability to work at a fast pace and/or handle shifting priorities • Detail oriented and highly organized • Proven ability to work independently
