📋 Description

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analyses for projects such as open channel and storm sewer systems, detention and water quality facilities, drainage master plans, and capital improvement programs • Conduct field investigations and/or data collection to support model and design development • Develop and refine engineering models or designs under the guidance of licensed engineers • Prepare technical reports, construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates • Identify opportunities to improve modeling workflows, design efficiency, and quality processes; contribute innovative ideas to enhance project delivery • Support client communications, attend meetings, and provide technical input under the guidance of the Project Manager • Participate in quality control reviews, address review comments, and ensure deliverables meet FNI quality standards • Provide guidance and technical support to junior staff as appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification • 3+ years relevant stormwater or water resources experience • Experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro, and Microsoft Office suite • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, meet commitments, and deliver high-quality results under deadlines • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn
