📋 Description

• Be responsible for on-time project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources • Assist Project Director in organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP • Participate in customer, internal, and/or supplier project kickoff meetings and support the Project Director with preparation & coordination of customer, internal, and/or supplier kickoff meetings • Develop and maintain a project roster including assigning and monitoring timely completion of project related training activities • Support the development & issuance of the Project Management Plan & related project plans and project procedures; promotes the implementation of project plans and project procedures across the larger project team • Support the development and deployment of project infrastructure and project tools • Ensure compliance with U. S. government requirements as applicable • Support coordination of project activities; monitor and control progress on project deliverables • Ensure the conformance of project deliverables with contract and project requirements • Organize and archive project correspondence and records consistent with Project Configuration Management Plan • Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and project progress reports

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and a minimum of 2 years managing projects (nuclear preferred but any energy or other large scale projects) • Ability to travel 25% domestic and international • demonstrated organizational skills, particularly when related to project execution • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or STEM • fundamental-level financial or accounting knowledge • experience or familiarity with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) or Sodium Fast Reactor (SFR) designs • knowledge of the power industry, customer, and competitive environment • demonstrated ability supporting project budget, schedule, and quality objectives • financial control knowledge and understanding • demonstrated professional interpersonal and leadership skills, including high level of motivation, integrity, and self-confidence • ability to take initiative and to work independently • ability to influence others • extreme attention to detail, follow up, highly organized • demonstrated ability to balance workload under short deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment • demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems • strong process orientation in approach to work • exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office suite • Six Sigma Training (BB, DFSS, etc.) (GE Employees only) • strong oral and written communication skills • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
