📋 Description

• Develop and execute category strategies that align with Gas Power objectives, ensuring a robust pipeline of high-performing, cost-competitive, and reliable suppliers. • Lead complex contract negotiations, securing optimal commercial terms while mitigating risk. • Actively manage supplier performance across the SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) spectrum. • Proactively identify bottlenecks and resolve escalations before they impact project timelines. • Identify and spearhead process improvements to increase sourcing efficiency and supply chain resiliency. • Build deep subject matter expertise in fluid commodities, serving as a technical advisor to engineering and project teams. • Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field • 5+yrs of experience in fluid systems in the gas power industry. • 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial engineering context. • Extensive experience with developing sourcing strategies and negotiating contracts. • Proven track record of managing supplier relationships, navigating complex contract negotiations, and reading legal terms. • Strong analytical mindset; ability to interpret data to inform strategic purchasing decisions. • Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to lead initiatives through to completion in a cross-functional environment. • Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
