The group operates globally (examples noted in Kenya, Ethiopia, DR Congo) and addresses family planning, HIV prevention and treatment, TB, malaria, sanitation, maternal and child health, and digital-first women-centered care through VIYA Health. 📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership to Global Health Security initiatives in Sierra Leone • Strengthen detection capacity and laboratory systems • Develop and strengthen sustainable surveillance systems • Enhance data collection, analysis, interoperability, and reporting • Provide targeted outbreak detection and response support • Support laboratory system strengthening initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s Degree or equivalent • 10 years professional experience in microbiology, clinical diagnostics, genomics, or related field • Comprehensive knowledge of infectious disease diagnostics • Prior experience implementing laboratory quality management systems • Familiarity with international biosafety regulations • Demonstrated competence in molecular and genomic diagnostic methods • Demonstrated experience conducting antimicrobial surveillance • Demonstrated experience strengthening laboratory/diagnostic capabilities during infectious disease outbreaks
