📋 Description

• Own the cloud data platform end‑to‑end, including environment provisioning, networking, security, automation, and operational readiness • Design and implement cloud‑native data pipelines and platform components that are scalable, observable, and cost‑efficient • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows, infrastructure, and application deployments using Azure DevOps • Implement infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform/Bicep) to automate Snowflake, Azure services, networking, and security configurations • Set up and manage orchestration & monitoring frameworks, including Prefect, ADF, or similar tools • Develop API‑driven integrations using MuleSoft to connect cloud and on‑prem systems securely • Lead the modernization to Snowflake/Databricks, including re‑architecting pipelines, data models, and operational workflows • Establish platform observability, including logging, alerting, data quality checks, and operational dashboards • Troubleshoot complex cloud and data platform issues, ensuring reliability and uptime • Collaborate with architects and business partners to design cloud‑ready, production‑grade solutions • Mentor engineers on cloud engineering, DevOps, and data engineering best practices • Evaluate and introduce new cloud capabilities, tools, and automation patterns to improve platform maturity

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience as a Cloud Engineer or Cloud Platform Engineer with hands‑on Azure expertise • Deep experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning, RBAC, automation, and cost optimization • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern ETL/ELT frameworks • Experience implementing infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Bicep) for cloud and data platforms • Experience setting up orchestration frameworks (Prefect, ADF, Airflow, Dagster) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git‑based workflows • Experience with API‑driven integrations (MuleSoft preferred) • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, and platform engineering • Ability to lead technical initiatives independently and drive platform‑level decisions • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to operate in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments • Healthcare data experience is a plus.
