📋 Description

• Help with projects improving cash operations, including system enhancements, implementations, integrations, and policy updates • Perform monthly cash reconciliations, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and resolution of reconciling items following company procedures • Reconcile high-volume cash activity, including: Accounts Payable disbursements, Premium billing and cash receipts, Claims payments and related clearing accounts • Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving outstanding items promptly • Monitor aged reconciling items and escalate issues to management • Partner with teams, including AP, Billing, Claims, Treasury, and IT, to research discrepancies and improve cash-related processes • Support process improvement projects focused on automation, standardization, and enhanced reporting dashboards • Ensure compliance with internal controls, Model Audit Rule (MAR) requirements, and audit readiness expectations • Prepare reconciliation documentation and support internal and external audit requests • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide visibility into reconciliation status, exceptions, and important cash metrics • Contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to cash and balance sheet accounts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting • 3+ years of accounting, financial reporting, or reconciliation experience • Experience with accounting principles, financial controls, and reconciliation processes • Experience supporting process improvement and automation projects • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems
