📋 Description

• Completes a thorough desk review of appraisals to determine compliance with company and investor guidelines. • Provides advanced administrative reviews on all Home Lending valuation products. • Works directly with Home Lending Loan Center, Appraisal Management Companies, external Appraisers, and Retail Branches. • Successfully completes collateral reviews of residential properties. • Effectively analyzes, interprets, evaluates, and explains assignment results. • Determines if the appraisal addresses issues that affect property values. • Performs external research through the FNC system, public records, or MLS data as needed. • Ensures consistency with Uniform Standards of Appraisal Practice, bank policies, and generally accepted appraisal standards. • Explains policy/procedures to both internal and external customers. • Works in a high volume environment with minimal supervision while maintaining production service levels. • Adheres to bank policies and procedures and complies with legal and regulatory requirements. • Follows effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured and controlled. • May mentor, direct, and assist lesser experienced Evaluators.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • 2+ years of demonstrated appraisal review experience • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) • flexibility to work outside of the standard business day • excellent interpersonal skills • ability to work effectively in a team environment • ability to work effectively in a fast pace environment with low tolerance for error • strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills • high level of personal integrity and judgment/maturity • ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism • ability to show a high degree of initiative and dependability • ability to work independently with little supervision • ability to learn quickly, be accurate and timely, and work with others cooperatively • Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
