• Audit billing and payroll entries in the practice management system to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance before claim submission. • Identify and correct billing discrepancies, including session time conflicts, missing mileage, and inaccurate timesheets. • Post and reconcile insurance and private-pay payments, ensuring all entries align with EOBs and internal records. • Communicate with internal staff to clarify and resolve billing and payroll-related issues. • Assist with month-end reconciliation and reporting to support financial accuracy and transparency. • Maintain organized and accurate financial records for billing and payroll activities. • Support additional administrative duties as needed, with room to expand responsibilities based on performance and growth.
• Experience in medical billing is required • Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis billing practices and accounts receivable is a plus, but not necessary. • Analytical Thinker: Able to follow logical rules, identify data inconsistencies, and draw accurate conclusions during audits. • Detail-Oriented: Careful and precise when reviewing billing, payroll, and reporting entries. • Professional Communicator: Friendly, solution-focused, and able to communicate clearly with internal staff. • Adaptable: Willing to take on evolving responsibilities and grow with the role.
