• Own the monthly close process and prepare journal entries, accruals, account reviews and balance sheet account reconciliations. • Track and reconcile project-level costs, labor allocations, and vendor activity. • Support vendor and customer workflows including expense reports, A/P, and A/R processes. • Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. • Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders. • Analyze trends in project revenue, expenses, and margins, providing insights to help guide decision-making. • Proactively raise questions or inconsistencies to ensure clarity and accuracy in reporting. • Collaborate with project managers and other teams to ensure project costs and revenue are accurately captured. • Support financial reporting and review, annual audit, and tax return preparation. • Other ad hoc projects as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP. • Experience using multiple financial and non-financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Concur, PipeDrive, Monday, Slack, Looker Studio, etc.). • Proven ability to perform high-quality, detailed work with minimal supervision. • Strong Excel and analytical skills; ability to work with large data sets. • Project accounting experience is preferred. • Comfortable asking questions, flagging issues, and contributing to process improvements. • Mindset for continuous improvement - you’re always learning and looking for a better way to do things. • The ability to connect the dots across data and systems. • A natural curiosity and a collaborative spirit. • Accountability - you take ownership and pride in your work. • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
