âą Educate and support team in understanding the complexities of commercial trucking insurance âą Develop and deliver training programs on trucking insurance policies, procedures and regulations for new and existing agents âą Help coach and equip new trucking sales agents in effective prospecting, relationship-building, persuasive presentations, and closing techniques âą Document and maintain up-to-date training manuals, classes, SOPs, and video tutorials âą Collaborate with management to improve workflows and reduce errors âą Create training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules âą Stay current with industry trends, FMCSA regulations, and insurance best practices âą Conduct assessments to evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement âą Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and compliance teams to ensure training aligns with operational needs âą Provide one-on-one coaching and support as needed âą May need to cross train in Personal Lines and other Commercial Lines
âą Prior experience in training, coaching, or instructional design is highly preferred â Remote training experience is a plus âą Minimum 3 years of successful experience as a trucking insurance agent (selling, servicing, renewals) âą Able to create training documents, videos (Canva or similar), call monitoring and process guides, and training syllabi for positions âą Highly organized, self-motivated, and patient âą Be comfortable to work with various bilingual staff members âą Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance âą Excellent communication and presentation skills. âą Ability to simplify complex insurance concepts for diverse audiences. âą Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems (LMS).
