📋 Description

• Perform forensic accounting analyses in family law and matrimonial matters • Analyze personal and business financial records, including bank statements, general ledgers, tax returns, and QuickBooks files • Trace income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and identify potential hidden or dissipated assets • Prepare lifestyle analyses, income analyses, net worth analyses, and cash flow reconstructions • Assist in business valuation engagements • Prepare expert reports, schedules, exhibits, and other litigation support materials • Support directors in discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation • Maintain organized workpapers and meet court and litigation deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Minimum of 5+ years of forensic accounting experience with substantial family law exposure • Experience supporting litigation and expert witness engagements • Strong understanding of equitable distribution, income available for support, tracing separate vs. marital property, business owner compensation analysis, cash flow and lifestyle analysis • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and financial analysis tools • Excellent analytical, organizational, and written communication skills • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment • Spanish language proficiency is strongly preferred, including the ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats.
