📋 Description

• Own reconciliations and monthly activity for assigned accounts, including prepaids, commissions, and rebate reserves • Prepare recurring journal entries and month-end accruals • Administer distributor rebate programs and review customer deductions and claims for contract compliance • Serve as a key point of contact for intercompany transactions with trading partners • Partner with non-finance stakeholders to determine the correct accounting treatment for sales deductions and expenses • Support year-end audit requests by preparing schedules, documentation, and account support for assigned areas • Compile information needed for state and local sales tax filings across monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual cycles • Help maintain strong internal controls by following and reinforcing company policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting • 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing, distribution, or product-based environment • Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, accruals, and financial controls • Comfort working in ERP and financial systems • Experience with OneStream and Infor is a plus • Experience with systems such as XA, BaaN, Syteline, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Epicor, SAP, or similar platforms • Exposure to rebates, sales deductions, intercompany transactions, or sales tax support • A continuous improvement mindset and interest in making processes more efficient • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work cross-functionally with non-finance partners
