• Facilitate regular interface meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, consultants, contractors, and clients. • Maintain a comprehensive interface register to document, track, and report on the status of all identified interface points. • Provide expert technical guidance on the integration of structural systems with other building and infrastructure components. • Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and submittals from various disciplines to ensure compatibility with the structural design. • Lead the resolution of technical clashes and discrepancies between different design models and drawings (e.g., BIM clash detection and resolution). • Ensure that all design changes are effectively communicated and coordinated across all affected disciplines. • Perform and oversee complex structural analysis and design for a variety of structures, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and project requirements. • Prepare and review detailed engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction documents. • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers in both technical design and interface management best practices. • Serve as the key liaison between the civil/structural team and other project stakeholders. • Clearly and concisely communicate complex technical issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all project partners to foster a collaborative and integrated project environment. • Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis is required. • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in civil and structural engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior role on large-scale, multidisciplinary projects. • A Master of Science in Structural Engineering is highly preferred. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail. • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. • In-depth knowledge of relevant design codes and standards (e.g., ASCE, ACI, AISC, IBC). • Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, RISA), as well as BIM platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
