📋 Description

• Prepare accurate electrical construction cost estimates from conceptual design through final construction documents. • Review construction drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation to develop detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing. • Evaluate labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and installation costs. • Collaborate with engineering teams to clarify scope and identify potential cost impacts. • Assist with budgeting, value engineering, and cost planning throughout project development. • Maintain estimating documentation and support continuous improvement of estimating practices. • Travel occasionally for training, team meetings, and project site visits as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–10 years of electrical estimating experience, preferably within M/E/P, infrastructure, or industrial construction. • Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction drawings, specifications, and estimating methodologies. • Experience preparing estimates across multiple phases of design development. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software (training will be provided on the firm's proprietary estimating platform). • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Willingness to travel occasionally to Parkton, Maryland for training and team meetings. • Willingness to travel periodically for project site visits.
