📋 Description

• Lead financial close activities, ensuring journal entries, accruals, and related adjustments are accurate, complete, and recorded on schedule. • Review and approve journal entries prepared by Senior and Staff Accountants, ensuring proper support and compliance. • Maintain adherence to GAAP and internal accounting policies across all accounting and finance activities. • Partner with Field Finance teams to develop and validate required journal entries and accruals. • Work with the Regional Controller to create, refine, and implement accounting policies and procedures across regions and operating companies. • Support consistency in financial close processes across local operating companies and design streamlined workflows where needed. • Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and related analyses. • Proactively identify and elevate financial or operational issues that may impact performance or controls. • Evaluate existing workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control. • Respond to and lead various ad hoc analyses, reporting needs, and special projects. • Supervise direct reports, provide coaching and development, and ensure team goals and departmental objectives are met. • Perform other duties as assigned to support the broader accounting function.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting. • Strong technical and analytical skills with demonstrated experience in GAAP and financial controls. • CPA preferred. • Public Accounting and/or Internal Audit experience preferred. • Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience. • Some people‑management or supervisory experience. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with limited supervision. • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively. • Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
