• Develops personalized wellness plans tailored to each client’s values, goals, unique needs, and preferences. • Utilizes Motivational Interviewing techniques to assist clients in identifying, addressing, and overcoming barriers to achieving their goals. • Submits accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. • Deliver individual and group Health and Wellness coaching sessions to support optimal health, physical fitness, and healthy lifestyle behaviors in accordance with COA and URAC standards. • Develop personalized wellness plans tailored to each client’s values, goals, needs, and preferences. • Utilize Motivational Interviewing and evidence-based behavior change strategies to help clients identify and overcome barriers to achieving their wellness goals. • Conduct psychoeducational sessions on topics such as weight management, exercise and fitness, healthy eating, and general wellness. • Provide group Health and Wellness coaching sessions on various approved topics and focus areas. • Provide guidance and support for clients utilizing digital wellness tools to achieve SMART goals. • Document all services provided, follow-up activities accurately and timely within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. • Contribute to the development and submission of evidence-based Health and Wellness content for Government review and approval. • Maintain current knowledge of emerging trends, research, and best practices in Health and Wellness coaching. • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field such as Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nutrition, or Personal Training/Fitness. • Current certification in Health and Wellness Coaching from a program approved by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC). • Strong customer service skills and demonstrated knowledge of call center operations. • Knowledge and understanding of military lifestyle and culture. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel, as well as web-based research and electronic documentation systems. • Strong communication, organizational, and coaching skills. • U.S. citizenship and fluency in English required. • Ability to successfully pass criminal history, fingerprint background checks, and credential verification required. • Ability to maintain and retain suitability investigation and clearance as required. • Proficient in navigating electronic systems, computer programs, and virtual service platforms. • This position requires a separate, quiet, private, confidential space to work from, as well as having access to your own reliable high-speed internet hard wired to your home (coax or fiber from the Internet Service Provider (ISP) to your home.) Using a hot spot from a mobile device (tethering) or wireless ISP is not acceptable.
