📋 Description

• Perform conceptual and detailed HV and MV Substation Physical/Electrical design • Perform advanced engineering studies and calculations • Perform Quality Control reviews on medium to large substation physical design projects • Create and review bill of materials for substation physical projects • Develop and review proposals, and scopes of work for substation physical projects • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers • Involved in client interaction with a drive for customer satisfaction • Develop and provide advanced technical presentations to the team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, civil or related degree • Eight (8+) plus years of Substation physical design experience • Leadership experience in executing substation projects • Excellent communication skills • Ability to lead bids and proposal effort for utility clients • Ability to perform quality control checks on substation design projects • Act as a supervisor for one to six direct reports • Ability to read and design substation physical drawings • Ability to read and design substation protection and control drawings • Experience with grounding studies/lightning protection and lighting studies • Ability to attend site visit at customer location
